Our 5th Year
Riding on the success of its 2004-7 shows, the Fairfield County Concours
d'Elegance returns with over 140 of the world's most
extraordinary classic automobiles and rare motorcycles at our venue, The
Fairfield County Hunt Club in Westport, Connecticut, on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September
21, 2008.
The 2008 show will again include a selection of antique cars, sports
cars, racing and touring cars, muscle cars, vintage American and European cars, and
rare motorcycles.
Special Exhibits will include "Winners at the Amelia Island Concours
d'Elegance", "60 Years of Racing at Watkins Glen", and the
"Artful Dodgers".

Special on-field judging classes include Ferrari, Preservation Vehicles, Cars of '58,
and vehicles eligible for Classic Car Club of Americatm membership. for more information.
In addition, each vehicle on display has a descriptive "car card"
that tells our guests what makes this particular vehicle notable. Data
could include rarity, provenance (who has owned it, where has it raced
and so on) and historical importance.
We have added an Art & Automobilia exhibition previewing on Saturday evening and continuing through the Concours on Sunday.
Our featured artist is internationally renowned Chuck Queener. We will also showcase the work of local
and regional artists. The Automobilia
expo will feature numerous vendors of automotive collectibles.
As always, we will feature several activities for children to make their attendance at the Concours exciting for them
and a pleasure for their parents.
