Volunteer to help support the 2011 Concours. Come join us for the fun this year!
Go to the Concours website and let us know what jobs interest you and what days and times since we have more slots during the week and Saturday. We will need more help this year due to the expanded activities on Saturday.
Saturday will be a Car & Motorcycle Club Celebration with several area clubs attending. They will have their own club meetings and be able to attend seminars and demonstrations throughout the day. We are also holding the Classic Car Club of America Grand Classic featuring 100-125 cars from the Metro NY and New England Regions vying for CCCA 100 Point Honors.
Saturday's Nutmeg Tour for Autism will feature stops in lower Fairfield County and then return to the Hunt Club for the evening's Toast the Tour Reception and Preview benefiting The Drive to Treat Autism Fund supporting diagnostic and treatment services for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Also Saturday is Bonhams Preview and in the evening is the Bonhams Auction Preview (separate tickets required).
Sunday's Concours features more than 150 significant vintage automobiles and motor cycles. Our featured judging classes are Porsche, E-Type Jaguar, Woodies, FIVA Preservation and Barn Finds. Our special exhibits are the Formula 1, Chrysler Hemi-powered vehicles, and CCCA 100 point winners from Saturday. Bonhams Auction will be held on Sunday in the afternoon.
Even if you volunteered last year, you should sign up online again this year so we know what you want to do and when you want to be there. This promises to be our best year yet!

Hagerty Youth Judges - Still Time to Sign UP
 For the fourth year, the Fairfield County Concours d'Elegance has teamed up with Hagerty to bring the Operation Ignite! Youth Judging program to the event. Through this program, kids age 8 to 15 are invited to get up close to show vehicles, meet owners and learn the basics of judging. Participants will be provided with official Youth Judging gear including a t-shirt, hat, lanyard and scorecard.
Hagerty's Operation Ignite! Connecting Kids and Cars youth initiative is designed to spark interest in classic vehicles and the hobby among young people.
The program held at the Fairfield County Concours is one of more than 70 that will be hosted this year throughout the United States, Canada and the U.K.
Through these events, more than 1,000 kids will have the opportunity to learn about classic cars while enjoying the excitement and fun of the classic car hobby.
