Event Guide - Saturday
The Nutmeg Tour - Benefiting Autism
This year's Saturday tour will feature approximately 50 vintage automobiles in
a tour through Fairfield, Southport and Westport. Specific route details
will be provided here once all permits and details have been finalized.
There will be three stops along the tour where spectators can get "up close and
personal" with the cars and their drivers. This year - the tour is a
fundraiser challenge for Autism. The participating vehicle and driver
raising the most money for Autism will be recognized at our Celebrity Dinner
following the tour. The tour returns to the Fairfield County Hunt Club at 4:30PM.
d'Elegance Reception & Dinner
The d'Elegance Reception will begin at 6:00PM at the Fairfield County Hunt Club. There will be
a VIP meet and greet with our celebrity dinner speaker.
During the reception, our guests will be able to view the Nutmeg Tour vehicles up close and talk with their drivers and visit the Art & Automobilia preview.
Dinner will begin at 7:00PM followed by our Celebrity Speaker and awards presentation - the two 2008 Concours Award winners: The Collector's Award recognizing
a lifetime of passion for rare and antique vehicle collecting and The Old #16 Award recognizing contribution to
automotive history, motor sports, and significant contributions to these
overlapping areas of interest.
